How to play Jigsaw Puzzle 2 digipuzzle

The game

In Jigsaw Puzzle 2 you can do one thing - you can assemble puzzles online. Jigsaw is a digipuzzle (digital puzzle) game with lots of different pictures and pieces to choose from, so the game never gets boring, and of course we'll be adding new pictures all the time. Our puzzles don't care about the number of pieces - whether it's 500 pieces or more, it's aesthetic and beautiful images that are the focal point with different levels of difficulty. The pictures are divided into albums, where each album has a specific theme. If you collect a picture, you get 1-3 stars. You choose whether you want to collect all the pictures or just the ones with subjects that interest you. Note that you only get stars once for collecting the different pictures.
If you like doing puzzles and challenging your brain, then Jigsaw is definitely for you. No more buying cheap puzzles, now you can do them for free and enjoy the wide variety of puzzles this game has to offer.

Setup

Once you have selected an image, you will be met by a setup dialog. Here you can choose how many pieces you want, whether you want to allow rotated pieces, whether you want help options, and which piece set you want to play with. Your choices affect the difficulty of the game and the subsequent scoring.

  • Rotation- with rotation enabled, the pieces will be rotated randomly at the start of the game. Right-click on a piece to rotate it.

  • Help- with help enabled, there will be a menu on the right side of the game where you can select three different help functions.

  • Piece set- if you change the piece set, the game pieces will take on new shapes.

Points

When you complete a puzzle, you are awarded points and stars. To get two stars you need 5,000 points and to get three stars you need 10,000 points.

Your score depends on the game setup. As a starting point, you are given 25,000 points. This score is multiplied if you enable rotation - the more pieces, the more it is multiplied. If you activate help, however, the score decreases. The more advanced a piece set you choose, the more points you get. After this basic score is calculated, points are deducted according to how much time you have spent assembling the puzzle. More points are deducted for time if you play with fewer pieces. So the bigger the puzzle you collect, the less time you spend on it.

Bonus Spin

To get the Bonus Spin, you must collect six golden pieces. You get one piece for a small puzzle, two for a medium and three for a large puzzle.

Puzzle history

The history of puzzles goes back centuries, and the earliest forms of puzzles can be traced back to ancient Egypt, where archaeologists have discovered puzzle-like artifacts. However, the modern puzzle as we know it today is the result of a longer evolutionary process.

In the 18th century, puzzles began to be produced as educational tools for children. These early puzzles were made of wood and cut into individual pieces that had to be assembled to form a picture. They were used to teach children geometric shapes, letters and numbers.

In the early 20th century, jigsaw puzzles became more popular and began to be mass produced. Major manufacturers such as Parker Brothers and Milton Bradley became involved in the production of jigsaw puzzles and contributed to their proliferation. Puzzles were made from cardboard, wood or metal and were often sold in boxes with a picture on the front to give an idea of what the puzzle would look like when assembled.

A crucial development in puzzle history was the introduction of interlocking pieces. These pieces were designed to fit together in different ways, making it easier to assemble the puzzle and ensuring that the pieces did not fall apart. This innovation made puzzles more durable and easier to handle.

During the 20th century, puzzles also began to include more complex and artistic images. Famous paintings, scenic landscapes and popular characters were often used as motifs for puzzles. This made jigsaw puzzles both an entertaining activity and a form of artistic expression.

Over time, jigsaw puzzles have become more diverse, offering a wide range of difficulty levels and themes. There are puzzles with fewer pieces for children and beginners and puzzles with thousands of pieces for experienced puzzlers. There are also 3D puzzles where the pieces must be assembled into a three-dimensional structure.

Today, puzzles are still a popular activity for people of all ages. They offer entertainment, mental stimulation and the opportunity to create something beautiful and satisfying. Puzzles are available both as physical products and in digital formats, allowing people to enjoy this timeless activity on different platforms.

General about Puzzles

A puzzle is an entertaining and challenging activity that involves putting pieces together to form a complete picture or pattern. It is a popular pastime for people of all ages and offers a number of benefits including mental stimulation, problem solving and relaxation.

A typical jigsaw puzzle consists of a collection of individual pieces cut into different shapes and sizes. These pieces fit together in different ways to form a coherent picture. The image can be anything from a painting, a photograph, an illustration or a pattern.

When starting to solve a puzzle, it is often most appropriate to sort the pieces by color, edge shapes or other characteristics that help identify how they fit together. This requires observation, patience and creative problem solving.

While puzzles can vary in difficulty, from simple puzzles with a few pieces to more complex puzzles with thousands of pieces, they all provide a sense of satisfaction when the final pieces fit together and the full picture is revealed.

Puzzles are known to offer several benefits. They stimulate the brain by challenging cognitive skills such as logical thinking, spatial perception, memory and concentration. Solving a puzzle also requires problem-solving skills as you need to find strategies to solve complex tasks.

Puzzles can also be a relaxing activity that provides a break from everyday stress and routines. Many people find joy in focusing on the details of the puzzle and entering a meditative state where they can relax and find inner peace.

There are different types of puzzles available, including traditional tile puzzles, 3D puzzles, puzzles with large pieces for children, magnetic puzzles and digital puzzles that can be played on computers, tablets and smartphones.

Whether played alone or with others, puzzles offer a fun and challenging activity that can be enjoyed by everyone. They stimulate the brain, encourage creative thinking and offer a satisfying sense of accomplishment when the final piece falls into place and the full picture is revealed.
