Mahjong Battle is a multiplayer game where you play against another player. The winner is found in either 1 round, or best of 3. You will play the same layout, and you will take turns. A turn takes between 5-30 seconds (to be chosen when creating the table).
When you find and choose a pair, you get one point, and it is the other player's turn. If you don't manage to find a pair and you run out of time, it is your adversary's turn.
If the layout can be finished and all tiles have been removed, the player with the most points wins the game. If both have the same number of points, it is a draw.
If the layout cannot be finished, and you run out of possibilities, it is all about being the first one at guessing. Read more under Guessing.

Guess |

It is not possible to shuffle the tiles in Mahjong Battle. However, you can at any time guess if there are more possible moves on the layout. If you guess right, you get 5 points, which may give you the victory, if you have less than 5 points less than the other player. If your guess is wrong, 1 point will be deducted.

Layouts |

There are 57 different layouts in Mahjong Battle. They correspond to the categories Easy and Medium in the game Mahjong 2. The user creating the table chooses whether a specific layout is to be played, or if it is selected randomly.

Tiles |
|
|
You can only move one pair of tiles at a time. After that, it is the other player's turn. There is a total of 144 tiles in each layout. There are 4 of some, and only 2 of others. You get 1 point each time you make a pair.
Circle tiles
There are 4 of each circle tile in one layout.

Bamboo tiles
There are 4 of each bamboo tile in one layout.

character tiles
There are 4 of each character tile in one layout.

Wind tiles
There are 4 of each wind tile in one layout.

Dragon tiles
There are 4 of each dragon tile in one layout.

Cartoon Tiles
There are 4 of each cartoon tile in one layout.

Flower tiles
There are 2 of each flower tile in one layout.

Rating |

If you win a Mahjong Battle game, you get your adversary's rating and the token premium, if you have agreed on one. If the game is a draw, nobody loses anything.
